 Jinan Transformer Group Ltd. Liability Co. is a enterprise that has 50 years experience to manufacture transformers. It is the only critical one in Shandong to produce up to 220kv power transformers planned by the original Ministry of Machinery, and it’s the high-new technology enterprise, the national torch project implement one, the national major manufacturer for new transformers and provincial technology innovation manufacturer, one of the first batch recommended transformer producers to citizen and rustic electrical nets’ construction and innovation.
The company’s predecessor is Jinan Transformer Works building in 1952. After the innovation on Stock system in 1993, Jinan Zhiyou Ltd. Liability Co. established by directional collection under the initiator of Jinan Transformer Works. And in end of 1995, ZhiYou invested and established Jinan ZhiHeng Special Transformer Co. Ltd, which use Siemens the newest technology and patent to produce cast resin dry type transformer. In the year of 1996, Jinan Zhiyou Group Ltd. Liability Co. was set up. And finally in 2007 the name was changed into the present name, Jinan Transformer Group Co., Ltd.
Our main products are: oil-immersed power transformers, dry type transformers, combined substation and all kinds special transformers and large transformer’s components. Oil-immersed transformers with voltage level 6-220kv, rating 30-360000kva, totally 23 series, 200odd varieties, more than 1400 odd specifications, meet all technical requirements of national Standard and the Standard of IEC. We started to produce transformers with voltage 35kV in 1958; transformers with 110kV produced in 1967; 220kV transformers produced from 1982. Just in 1991, passed identification organized by Ministry of Machinery and Electro & Energy. 110kV power transformers in 8, 9, 10 series and new S9 series distribution transformers were regarded as the national major new products by China Economic and Trade Council and national Science & Technology Committee in 1998.
Cast resin dry type transformers with voltage level up to 35kV, and max. capacity 16000kVA are newest products which is the only one to be made in China using Siemens’ newest technology and license, and we enjoy the right of using Siemens’ newest technology and license, and we enjoy the right of using Siemens’ latest technology and patent continuously. Dry transformer, which has the up-to-date international quality level, is also the critical product of national Torch Project. Large transformers’ tank components are produced by modern equipment, the quality of tanks reach to IEC standard and German DIN Standards, they have been adopted by several foreign companies.
We have already accumulated rich experience on producing transformers, and have established abundant substance base, and more strong technical development capacity during these 50 years. Now 800 persons serve for us, including 150 professional technical persons, and 20senior engineers. Our company established provincial Technology Research Center, introduced advance designing and calculation software developed by QingHua University etc., adopted the world top level withstand short-circuit technology from Ukraine, absorbed foreign advance technologies such as Siemens’, and a lot of new technologies are used during the process of manufacturing. It ensure the good features of low losses, low noise, low temperature rise, no leakage and the high ability to withstand short-circuit (one high, four low, one no), all these make our transformers reach the national and foreign advanced level.
Good equipment, modern technology, and abundance base and good production condition. Since l985, we have invested ll7 million to finish four technical innovation projects, imported l5 units (sets) world advanced professional equipment, such as Georg core lamination cutting line from Germany, insulation processing center from Switzerland / France, HV.LV winding machine made by Germany and France, vacuum casting plant from Germany, Norwegian / Swiss vacuum oil-filters, German air cushion transporter for large transformer, GYX-3M steel plate pretreatment line and complement devices, large NC cutting machine, 800t large bender, super kerosene vapor phase drying machine, the complete test equipment etc. We also finished transformer tank's extension, built modern workshop for dry transformers and assembly workshop for 220kV super transformers and HV test hall. A lot of new technologies are used during the process of manufacturing such as the structure of step lap core lamination, no upper yoke on core, winding whole phase assembly, prepress on transformer body, preprocess on tank and metal parts. All these actions made our Production conditions and base reach to the domestic most advantaged level in the trade.
As the transformers' Quality Supervision Station in Shandong province, which are equipped with the complete supervision apparatus and test equipment, we passed the acceptance hold by the Ministry of Machinery and the institute in l984. All kinds of technical performances meet the requirements of the national standard and IEC standard. Our products were evaluated as the first-class products in many provincial and citizen supervising. In many national quality spot checks, all of them reach the requirements for high quality products, a lot of new products are regarded as provincial and ministerial high quality ones.Since1993,large,middle and small transformers have been named as the check-free products continuously by Shandong and Jinan Technical Supervision bureau for many times. In Oct.1997, just in one time, we passed ISO9001 Quality Standard Identification, and obtained the certificate issued by Beijing ISO9000 Identification Center and UKAS of British Royal Commission; in may.2001,passed the auditing to ISO9001:2000 version earlier in the trade, which covers power transformers voltage level no more than 220kV and special transformers' design, development, production and service. In 1997,we went through the first-batch identification for force implement standard in the Ministry of Machinery, and it's the first one in Shandong to get relevant certificate for 6 cells covering 10kV,35kV,110kV,220kV products.
Jinan Transformer Group’s products with their reasonable structure, advantage technology, stable quality, considerate service satisfy with customers in many years, The market share has been extended constantly, our products have been sold to 30 provinces, cities and municipalities, the sales in our key area that focus on the north ,east of china, and the middle south of china occupy more than 90% of our total sales volume. Large transformers with 110kV shares about 30% of all market, now the sales net radiating to the whole country from the basis of the east and north of china has shaped up. In particularly, in the 8 years from 1993 to 2000,137 units large power transformers and cast resin dry transformers total 2.17 million kVA have run sagely in the substations located in Beijing Tian'anmen square, Qianmen, Gongqian, Wenqian etc., even no fault has appeared on transformers, so we got the approbate and praise from customers.
